Alfred, New York's ACQ Preserve Playground

Recruiting children and adult volunteers to build a community playground was easy. Selecting the right building material wasn't. When Tim Diggins agreed to coordinate Alfred, New York's playground project, he found that many residents were concerned about the safety and environmental impact of treated wood. Then he discovered ACQ Preserve, the pressure treated wood with no arsenic or chromium. ACQ has all the advantages of pressure treated wood, without any EPA listed hazardous chemicals, making it the safer, more conscientious choice.
